Aerosmith promotes new album, encourages people to vote at free outdoor concert in Boston

BOSTON – Hundreds of people have gathered in a student neighbourhood in Boston to hear a free live performance by Aerosmith.

The band played Monday outside the apartment building where they got their start in the city’s Allston neighbourhood. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is there along with Boston Mayor Tom Menino’s wife and others.

The band is promoting its new album, “Live From Another Dimension,” and encouraging people to vote.
