EQUIPMENT UPGRADE AFFECTS PARTS OF ROSE VALLEY AND WEST KELOWNA ESTATES
WEST KELOWNA – A planned power outage for pole replacement will affect some West Kelowna customers for most of the day March 23.
Six poles on a power line that serves 1,179 customers in the Rose Valley and West Kelowna Estates areas will be replaced between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. according to the City of Kelowna Website.
The alert on the city’s website lists the roads affected by the outage.
B.C.Hydro’s outage map confirms the planned power outage and says the power needs to be shut off for worker and public safety.
