Tool thieves target City of West Kelowna compound

KELOWNA – Thieves managed to steal hundreds of dollars worth of tools after they jumped a fence at a City of West Kelowna storage yard earlier this month.

The thieves damaged several company trucks parked on the 3700 block of Elliott Road on March 5, but were unable to gain entry, according to a Crime Stoppers media release.

They managed, however, to leave with fire extinguishers, a socket set, a cordless drill, a pry bar and other items.

The release does not provide a description of the suspects but asks you call the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tips line at 1-800-222-TIPS or visit the Crimestoppers website if you have any information.
