
Cranbrook man caught with stolen vehicle in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS – A man is in custody after stealing a vehicle from the Dallas area of Kamloops this morning.
RCMP say in a media release a vehicle was stolen from a parking lot in Dallas around 11:10 a.m., March 17.
The vehicle's owner used a tracking app to locate his phone, which was left inside.
Police tracked the vehicle down in the Rogers Way area 20 minutes later and a lone male was taken into custody without incident.
The 32-year-old Cranbrook man is being held in custody to appear in court for vehicle theft.
