Kelowna man dies from injuries in quad crash
KELOWNA – One of two men critically injured and taken to hospital after the quad they were riding went down an embankment in Oyama last week has died.
RCMP say a 42-year-old man Kelowna man has succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
On March 10, police responded to report of an ATV rollover in the 5000-block of Oyama Lake Road in Lake Country and found a heavily damaged quad against a tree eight feet down an embankment.
A 46-year-old Lake Country man was also taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening condition. RCMP say he remains in hospital and is receiving treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
