Canada’s premiers to meet in Halifax later this month to talk economy

HALIFAX – Nova Scotia Premier Darrell Dexter says Canada’s premiers will meet in Halifax to discuss the economy later this month.

Dexter says the premiers will gather for two days to discuss how they can work together to help the federal government improve the economy.

He says he expects all premiers will attend the meeting, which is scheduled to begin Nov. 22.

Dexter has invited Prime Minister Stephen Harper to attend, but he has declined.
