Sun and showers for first week of spring in the Okanagan

OKANAGAN – With spring officially underway, Mother Nature is gracing the Okanagan with a mix of sun, cloud and showers this week.

Today, March 21, is expected to be the warmest this week, with Environment Canada calling for temperatures to reach 13 Celsius. Highs of 9 C to 12 C are forecast for the rest of the week with lows expected to reach between the seasonal normal low of 0 C and 4 C overnight.

Showers in the North and Central Okanagan are expected to end this morning, followed by a chance of showers throughout the region this afternoon and overnight. The chance of showers is expected to continue Tuesday and again Wednesday night through Thursday.

The sun is expected to make a full appearance for Good Friday and should stick around through the long weekend.
