Kelowna man with 36 warrants arrested at family campground

KELOWNA – A Kelowna man with 36 outstanding warrants was taken into custody Tuesday night.

RCMP received a tip the 36-year-old Edmonton man was at a local campground. His warrants were out of British Columbia and Alberta, mainly for break and enter type offences. He was taken into custody and appeared in court Wednesday.

The man is being held so he can make an appearance in Cranbrook Provincial Court August 11.
