Egg-citing Easter things to do in Penticton

PENTICTON – Easter weekend is bringing with it some egg-cellent things to do in Penticton.

There’s an Easter Eggstravaganza at Cherry Lane Shopping Centre on Saturday, March 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event features balloon animals, face painting, a bouncy castle, gifts, crafts and Magician Leif David at 2 p.m.

The Penticton Lakeside Resort is hosting an Eggcellent Easter Buffet on Sunday, March 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids 12 and under will receive a special gift from the Easter Bunny.

The sixth annual Easter Egg Hunt and Fun Day at LocoLanding takes place Monday, March 28 at 11a.m. at LocoLanding Adventure Park, 75 Riverside Drive in Penticton.

I have been looking for news in the South Okanagan - SImilkameen for 20 years, having turned a part time lifelong interest into a full time profession. After five years publishing a local newsletter, several years working as a correspondent / stringer for several local newspapers and seven years as editor of a Similkameen weekly newspaper, I joined iNFOnews.ca in 2014. As an airborne geophysical surveyor I travelled extensively around the globe, conducting helicopter borne mineral surveys.

As a member of the Kaleden community, I have been involved in the Kaleden Volunteer Fire Department for 22 years, and also serve as a trustee on the Kaleden Irrigation District board.
I am currently married to my wife Judy, of 26 years. We are empty-nesters who enjoy living in Kaleden with our Welsh Terrier, Angus, and cat, Tibbs.
Our two daughters, Meagan and Hayley, reside in Richmond and Victoria, respectively.
