Canadian teen Brooke Henderson among the leaders at Women’s PGA Championship

HARRISON, N.Y. – Canadian teen Brooke Henderson is hot on veteran Karrie Webb’s heels at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, the second major of the season.

Webb birdied the 18th hole for a 2-under-par 71 to take the early lead, finishing at 7-under 139.

Henderson was a stroke behind after an up-and-down round that included five birdies and five bogeys.

The Smiths Falls, Ont., native finished with a 73.

Overnight leader Jenny Shin (75) and Stacy Lewis (71) were at 5 under among the early starters.
