NEW YORK, N.Y. – U.S. Sen. Cory Booker wants to be a uniter.
The first-term Democrat from New Jersey has a deal with Ballantine Bantam Dell for the book “United,” which will combine stories from his life with a plan for “revitalizing” the country.
Ballantine Bantam Dell announced Monday that “United” is scheduled to be released in January. The publisher is a division of Penguin Random House.
According to the publisher, the book will touch on Booker’s time as a Rhodes scholar and his ideas for the economy and criminal justice system.
The 46-year-old Booker was previously mayor of Newark, New Jersey’s largest city.
