Lions and Alouettes lead the way with 10 CFL division all-stars apiece

TORONTO – The B.C. Lions and Montreal Alouettes led all CFL clubs with 10 players from each squad named to their respective division all-star team.

Travis Lulay took the honour at quarterback for the West Division while Montreal’s Anthony Calvillo picked up the QB nod in the East.

The Calgary Stampeders were next in the West with eight selections, followed by the Edmonton Eskimos with six and the Saskatchewan Roughriders with three.

In the East, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers had seven selections apiece while the Toronto Argonauts had three.

The division all-stars were selected by CFL fans, head coaches and members of the Football Reporters of Canada.

The CFL all-stars will be announced in early December.
