Knights roar back from early deficit to defeat lowly Storm 6-2 for fifth straight win

LONDON, Ont. – The London Knights came back from an early deficit to top the Guelph Storm 6-2 for their fifth straight victory on Tuesday.

Isaiah George, George Diaco, Ryan Del Monte and Easton Cowan each notched one goal and one assist for London (14-7-1). Ruslan Gazizov and Logan Mailloux added the others while Brett Brochu made 17 saves.

Danny Zhilkin and Valentin Zhugin scored for Guelph (8-13-2-1). Jacob Oster stopped 18-of-24 shots.

The Storm jumped out to a 2-0 lead 8:15 into the game. Just over three minutes later, Diaco put the Knights on the board and Cowan evened the score with just one second remaining in the first period.

London went on to add three more goals in the second and one in the third to put the game away.
