Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial Services. Down two cents, or 0.08 per cent, to $23.98 on 6.6 million shares.
Bank of Nova Scotia. (TSX:BNS). Bank. Up 45 cents, or 0.68 per cent, to $66.35 on 5.5 million shares.
Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. (TSX:COS). Oil and gas. Up 34 cents, or 3.45 per cent, to $10.20 on 5.05 million shares.
Sun Life Financial Inc. (TXS:SLF). Insurance. Up 40 cents, or 0.94 per cent, to $42.76 on 3.9 million shares.
Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Up 92 cents, or 2.65 per cent, to $35.70 on 3.9 million shares.

Rogers Communications Inc. (TSX:RCI.B). Telecommunications. Up 76 cents, or 1.78 per cent, to $43.35 on 2.9 million shares. An Ontario court gave its approval for Rogers Communications to buy Mobilicity for about $465 million. Rogers will also sell some spectrum to Wind Mobile, which has emerged as one of the leading challengers to Canada’s three biggest wireless companies, and complete a previously announced purchase of spectrum from Shaw.
