Justin Timberlake to perform at Eurovision Song Contest

STOCKHOLM – American singer and songwriter Justin Timberlake will be a guest performer at the Eurovision Song Contest this weekend.

Organizers say Timberlake will take the stage during Saturday’s competition “as an interval act” with his new single, “Can’t stop the feeling.”

The annual competition, known for its peculiar blend of techno beats, rock ballads and bubblegum pop, attracted more than 200 million viewers last year.

This year’s contest in Stockholm will air in the 42 participating countries, plus China, Kazakhstan, Portugal, New Zealand and, for the first time, the United States.

Show Producer Sven Stojanovic says Timberlake’s appearance is made extra special because Swedish songwriters Max Martin and Shellback have co-written and co-produced his song.
