Woman dragged by vehicle down Penticton street following argument
PENTICTON – A woman suffered minor injuries after a heated argument between her and the driver of a Ford Explorer got out of hand last night.
The injured woman was throwing punches through the window of the vehicle at the driver when the driver accelerated to get away, Penticton RCMP media spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says.
The assailant held on for several seconds and was dragged 20 feet before falling to the ground during the incident, which took place in the 800-block of Green Mountain Road around 11:30 p.m. yesterday, March 11.
The woman was taken to hospital but did not suffer serious injuries in the incident, Wrigglesworth says.
Police say the two women are related.
