TedX speaker who ‘came back from the dead’ making tour stop in Kelowna

KELOWNA – Anita Moorjani was given just hours to live.

She arrived at hospital Feb. 2, 2006, in a coma after a four-year fight with cancer. She was not expected to live, but to the astonishment of doctors, she woke up and made a full recovery.

Moorjani says while in the coma she entered another dimension where, according to her website, she 'experienced great clarity and understanding of her life and purpose here on earth.'

She credits the new perspective she was given to curing herself of the cancer, and has since wrote a book and is now on an international speaking tour.

Moorjani’s book, Dying To Be Me, became a New York Times bestseller, and she is coming to Kelowna this month.

She will be at Kelowna Community Theatre on April 24. The show starts at 6 p.m. but there will be a VIP reception and meet and greet at 5:15 p.m. The talk will be followed by a question and answer opportunity, book signing and guest speakers.
