NANAIMO, B.C. – Mounties in Nanaimo, B.C., say they’re investigating after a dead body was discovered on Saturday morning.
RCMP say the body of a 59-year-old man was found at about 5:45 a.m. in downtown Nanaimo.
No cause of death has been determined.
Mounties say they’ve learned that loud voices were heard coming from the area the night before the man’s body was found.
Police are asking anyone who might’ve seen or heard anything to contact them.
The RCMP’s serious crime unit has taken over the investigation.
