Norman puts university studies on hold, joins Lions’ offensive line

VANCOUVER – Matt Norman has put his studies on hold to help plug the B.C. Lions’ hurting offensive line.

The Lions announced Wednesday that Norman has been added to the team’s 46-man roster.

The rookie offensive lineman had left the team during the regular season to pursue a teaching degree at the University of Western Ontario.

He will provide depth to a line plagued by injuries to guards Jon Hameister-Ries and Dean Vall.
