Commercial scuba gear stolen from Kelowna student

KELOWNA – Thousands of dollars’ worth of scuba equipment was stolen out of a truck last week in Kelowna, and RCMP are hoping a member of the public can help locate it.

On April 14, a young woman went inside Baxter’s Pub at around 5 p.m. When she came out around 6:30 p.m. she found that a bag containing $4,000 worth of underwater diving equipment had been taken.

A dry suit, fins, tool bag, dive knife, goggles and other items are missing.

The words “Trin” is written on the side of the bag.

The victim is a student studying commercial diving.
