UPDATE: Internet restored to Thompson-Okanagan residents

THOMPSON-OKANAGAN – If you were having some technical difficulties today, you weren’t alone.

Shortly after 1 p.m. large Shaw outages were being reported across B.C. and Alberta this afternoon while minor outages to Telus Internet and phone lines were logged to an online reporting website.

Shaw Internet was restored by 3 p.m.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.

@Shawhelp @jeffartiss also having issues in kelowna. Glenmore area. Can't phone the 800 number either
