NewsAlert: Canadian unemployment rate steady in June as 6,400 jobs lost
OTTAWA – Canada’s economy lost 6,400 jobs in June, not enough to change the unemployment rate from 6.8 per cent. It was better than the estimated loss of 10,000 jobs after Canada gained 58,900 jobs in May.
