Man walks away after small plane crash-lands in Langley, B.C., field
LANGLEY, B.C. – RCMP say a 47-year-old man walked away from a plane crash in Langley, British Columbia without major injuries.
Mounties say it appears the small aircraft was forced to land Friday afternoon after experiencing mechanical difficulties.
The pilot was the only occupant and he called police after the crash landing, then was taken to hospital.
RCMP say they found no evidence that the mechanical difficulties were cause by anything criminal.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Langley detachment or Crime Stoppers.
Last month, another small plane was forced to make an emergency landing at a golf course after taking off from Langley Regional Airport.
