Ex-federal cabinet minister Liza Frulla gets hotel-related job in Quebec
QUEBEC – Former provincial and federal cabinet minister Liza Frulla has been appointed head of a Quebec institute that specializes in tourism as well as hotel and restaurant management.
Frulla, 66, will also sit on the board of the Institut de tourisme et d’hotellerie du Quebec.
Frulla was a member of the Quebec legislature between 1989 and 1998 and had a spell as communications and culture minister.
She was elected to the Commons as a Liberal in 2002 and re-elected in 2004 before losing in 2006.
During her time in Ottawa, she served as social development minister and heritage minister.
Frulla also worked in TV over the years.
