Film production may disrupt traffic in Kelowna today

KELOWNA – Movie crews will be filming and taking photos on May 6 from 11 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. and on May 8 from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at various locations throughout downtown and Pandosy.

Signage will be posted to indicate filming is taking place.

Traffic control personnel will be on site and disruption is expected to be minimal in most places.

On May 6, traffic and parking may be affected on Lawrence Avenue from Water Street to just before Abbott Street between 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The alley on the north side of Lawrence Avenue will be closed from 6:45 p.m. until 7:15 p.m.

There will be single lane traffic on Royal View Drive from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., and on Mt. Royal Drive from 3:15 until 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 8.

Motorists are asked to plan their route accordingly to avoid delays.
