Surrey RCMP investigate shots fired; one man with non-life-threatening injuries
SURREY, B.C. – The RCMP is investigating after a man was injured in a shooting in Surrey, B.C.
Mounties say they received the call just before noon on Sunday.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a male victim suffering from apparent gun shot wounds.
He was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the investigation is in its early stages but the incident appears to be targeted.
The area surrounding the scene has been cordoned off and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
