TORONTO – Ontario Power Generation named Jeffrey Lyash as its new president and chief executive, effective Aug. 21.
Lyash joins OPG from CB&I Power, a U.S. power engineering, procurement and construction firm.
OPG says Lyash will take the job as the company prepares for the refurbishment of its Darlington nuclear power station.
The plant in Clarington, Ont., east of Toronto, generates about 20 per cent of the province’s power.
