Wiebe, the defending Olympic champion in the 75-kg discipline, opened with a win over India’s Kiran Kiran and defeated Hungary’s Zsanett Nemeth in the quarterfinals before losing to Turkey’s Yasemin Adar by fall in the semifinals.
Adar, the 2017 world champion, will face Germany’s Aline Focken in the gold-medal match.
Russia’s Ekaterina Bukina will take on Aiperi Medet Kyzy of Kyrgyzstan in the other bronze-medal match.
