Cirque du Soleil 3D film to make North American debut in Montreal

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Cirque du Soleil’s big screen spectacle “Worlds Away” will make its North American premiere in Montreal.

The 3D movie features acrobatic feats by the world-renowned company, based in Montreal.

The story centres on a young couple who is separated and must make their way through dream-like worlds to find each other.

The film was written and directed by Andrew Adamson and executive produced by James Cameron.

It opened in Japan on Nov. 9 after screening at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

“Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away” debuts in Montreal on Dec. 7 before expanding across North America on Dec. 21.
