Yemeni military plane crashes during training; all 10 aboard killed

SANAA, Yemen – Yemeni security officials say a military plane has crashed during training over the capital, Sanaa, killing all 10 people on board.

The officials say the Russian-made aircraft plunged from the sky and crashed today into an empty market in the heart of the Yemeni capital, destroying several shops.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.
