Vernon RCMP seek owner of abandoned suitcase

VERNON – Police are looking for the rightful owner of a suitcase.

The luggage bag was found in the parking lot of the Real Canadian Superstore and turned in to the Vernon RCMP detachment around 2 p.m. yesterday, May 16.

The bag is full of personal property but no identification, Sgt. Mike Moyer says in a release.

“Police are requesting the public’s assistance to locate the owners,” he says.

Anyone with information about the bag is asked to contact the Vernon RCMP 250-545-7171.
