VERNON – Three individuals have been arrested following a cocaine trafficking investigation.
On July 4, at about 1:45 p.m., the Vernon North Okanagan Task Force was conducting an investigation on three local residents for cocaine trafficking.
The investigation led to the arrest of two men, one 28-years-old and the second one 19-years-old as well as that of a 19-year-old woman. All three are from Vernon.
They were arrested in a 1998 Chevy car in the 3100 block of 19th Street.
The 28-year-old Vernon resident was found to be in possession of approximately half an ounce of cocaine. This male was later released from custody for a future court date and is expected to face a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
