UPDATE: Kelowna RCMP identify suspect in obscene hot tub trespassing case

KELOWNA – As the investigation into a case of a man and woman enganged in illegal and obscene acts in someone else's hot tub in Kelowna continues, police say they have at least one suspect in mind.

RCMP say officers were called around 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, to a home in the 1900-block of McDougall Street to investigate a report of trespassing, mischief and theft.

A man and a woman walked onto the property, looked into the home’s windows and climbed into the homeowner’s hot tub, according to an RCMP media release.

“The suspects were captured on video surveillance as they consumed alcohol, smoked cigarettes and engaged in physical relations,” Const. Jess O’Donaghey says in the release.

He says the footage also shows the suspects trying to steal an 'outdoor electronic device'. Police haven’t released the video or any images from it.

RCMP say an 18-year-old male has been identified as a possible suspect, but won't release any further information at this time.
