CAMBRIDGE, Vt. – Vermont State Police say a 22-year-old man who was struck by a motorcycle has suffered critical injuries.
Authorities say 68-year-old Jean Louis Mondou, of Quebec, Canada, lost control of his motorcycle while making a sharp left turn around 12:40 p.m. Saturday in Cambridge. He struck Pierre Chenel, who was walking along the side of the road. Chenel, of France, who is a student in Montreal, Quebec, suffered head injuries. He’s in the hospital in critical but stable condition.
Mondou suffered minor injuries.
An investigation is continuing.
