Kamloops now home to faction of Lower Mainland’s ‘Wolfpack’ criminal organization

KAMLOOPS – One of the Lower Mainland’s criminal organizations is operating in Kamloops.

‘The Wolfpack’ have a faction in Kamloops, according to an RCMP press release. The Kamloops branch was linked to the Lower Mainland group after police seized substantial amounts of drugs and weapons in Kamloops through search warrants, the release states.

The investigation into the ‘The Wolfpack’ led to a residence in Surrey, says the release. Kamloops RCMP obtained a search warrant for the residence, where Oxycodone pills, seven pounds of Marijuana and cocaine was found. Some of the pills appear to contain fentanyl, according to the release.

Michael Ross, a 27-year-old man, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a firearm when prohibited.

The release says there is an ongoing investigation into groups and individuals dominating the Kamloops drug trade.
