KAMLOOPS – Congestion in the area surrounding Notre Dame Drive continues to get worse after a gas leak forced the closure of the roadway this afternoon.
Notre Dame Drive is closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic from Laval Crescent to Dalhousie Drive this afternoon, RCMP say in a release.
The closure is due to a gas leak and traffic will be allowed through again once it has been repaired. RCMP estimate it will be closed until about 4 p.m.
Crews have been working on the road since earlier this month.
