Bell with three points as the Rockets crush the Blades 9-2

KELOWNA, B.C. – Myles Bell scored twice and added an assist as the Kelowna Rockets crushed the visiting Saskatoon Blades 9-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.

Codie Fowlie, Colton Sissons, Rourke Chartier, Filip Vasko and Jesse Lees each had a goal and an assist for the Rockets (14-8-2), who led 5-0 after the first period, while Colton Heffley and Zach Franko had a goal apiece.

Brenden Walker and Nathan Burns scored for the Blades (11-12-1).

Jordon Cooke made 22 saves for the win as Andrey Makarov allowed four goals on 10 shots and was pulled 10 minutes into the game. Alex Moodie stopped 32-of-35 shots in relief.

Kelowna went 0-for-1 on the power play while Saskatoon went 1-for-4.
