TUFFNELL, Sask. – A missing Saskatchewan man, who police say suffered from dementia, has been found dead near his pickup truck which was stuck in snow and mud.
RCMP say a search aircraft spotted Walter Haluk’s truck on Sunday morning in a field about 13 kilometres south of Tuffnell in eastern Saskatchewan.
Haluk, who was 75, was reported missing on Saturday from the community of Sheho, a short drive southeast of Tuffnell.
After the truck was spotted from the air, police located Haluk’s body near the vehicle.
Police say they are still investigating but don’t suspect foul play.
