PENTICTON – Mounties don't know the identity of two teenagers reportedly seen scratching cars and slashing tires near the Casino Sunday morning so they're turning to the public for help.
At about 5:33 a.m. Penticton RCMP received a report of two teenage males on BMX bikes damaging cars at the Penticton Lake City Casino parkade, located on Lakeshore Drive. Officers saw 15 vehicles with deep scratches in the paint or slashed tires. Another two vehicles were reported damaged at the Penticton Marina on Okanagan Lake, according to a Penticton RCMP press release.
Police say one of the teens was wearing a "Mackinaw" or tartan coloured hoodie and was carrying a backpack.
Anyone with information can contact Penticton RCMP or Crimes Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
