Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up 25 cents, or 9.06 per cent, to $3.01 on 6.8 million shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Up five cents, or 1.83 per cent, to $2.78 on 5.4 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Up eight cents, or 4.97 per cent, to $1.69 on 5.3 million shares.

Romarco Minerals Inc. (TSX:R). Miner. Up five cents, or 9.43 per cent, to 58 cents on 4.9 million shares.

Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down five cents, or 0.53 per cent, to $9.45 on 4.4 million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 32 cents, or 2.96 per cent, to $10.50 on 4.3 million shares.

Air Canada (TSX:AC). Airline. Down 82 cents, or 6.36 per cent, to $12.08 on 3.4 million shares. Air Canada is on track to a highly profitable year after posting another record quarter as demand remains healthy despite a weakened Canadian economy. The country’s largest carrier benefited from a drop in fuel prices and higher non-fare charges.

Metro Inc. (TSX:MRU). Grocer. Up seven cents, or 0.19 per cent, to $36.57 on 791,187 shares. Grocery chain operator Metro Inc. says it won’t cower in the shadows of U.S. retail giant Walmart, which is making a bigger push into the food business. Chief executive Eric La Fleche said he expects a “moderate” impact from the rising number of Walmart supercentres, which have been growing at a solid clip in eastern Quebec.
