Ex-PQ cabinet minister Pierre Duchesne named Peladeau’s chief of staff

QUEBEC – Former Parti Quebecois cabinet minister Pierre Duchesne is the new chief of staff to party leader Pierre Karl Peladeau.

The ex-Radio Canada reporter was minister of higher education between 2012 and 2014 when he lost his seat in the general election and the Liberals swept to power.

Duchesne, 50, has been a strategic adviser to the PQ since June 2014.
