
Corvette hits hydrant, utility pole in Penticton
PENTICTON – RCMP are investigating after a red Corvette sideswiped a fire hydrant and hit a utility pole before coming to rest in Penticton this afternoon.
The Corvette left a trail of car parts in the 400-block of Lower Bench Road at around 1 p.m., June 4, when the driver lost control.
The two men in the car were treated by B.C. Ambulance Service paramedics at the scene, according to a witness.
No word if any tickets will be issued or charges laid.
