Defensive end Norwood and pivots Mitchell and Collaros take weekly CFL honours

TORONTO – Quarterback Zach Collaros and Hamilton teammate Eric Norwood were named CFL top performers of the week Tuesday for their efforts in the Ticats’ 52-22 victory over the B.C. Lions.

Calgary quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell was also honoured for leading the Stampeders to a 48-3 rout of the Ottawa Redblacks.

Collaros threw four touchdown passes as Hamilton extended its winning streak to four games. He completed 19 of 23 passes for 290 yards and did not throw an interception.

Norwood, meanwhile, scored his first career touchdown on a 26-yard fumble return. The defensive end also recorded a sack, forced a fumble and had four tackles overall.

Mitchell threw for 248 yards and was 17 of 25 passing. He threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran in for a pair of scores himself.
