Chance of thunderstorms to kick off the weekend in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS – This weekend will look a lot different than the last one, when we sat under 30-degree heat all weekend.
Environment Canada is calling for a high of just 17 Celsius today, June 10, and tomorrow, well below the seasonal normal high temperature of 25 C. Sunday is expected to reach near-normal temperatures, before cooling off to the teens again early next week.
Overnight lows are also expected to be below the seasonal normal low temperature of 11 C, with lows of 8 C to 9 C expected throughout the weekend.
Rain is expected today, along with a risk of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, followed by a chance of showers Saturday. A break from the rain is expected Sunday before a chance of showers starts up again Monday.
