Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down 18 cents, or 13.95 per cent, to $1.11 on 26.9 million shares.

Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Oil and gas. Down 79 cents, or 2.95 per cent, to $26.01 on 8.6 million shares.

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down 29 cents, or 4.27 per cent, to $6.50 on 7.4 million shares.

Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial Services. Down 49 cents, or 2.39 per cent, to $19.97 on seven million shares.

Toronto-Dominion Bank (TSX:TD). Bank. Down $1.26, or 2.51 per cent, to $49.02 on 6.3 million shares.

Crescent Point Energy (TSX:CPG). Oil and gas. Down 73 cents, or 5.46 per cent, to $12.65 on 5.6 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

TransCanada Corp. (TSX:TRP). Oil and gas. Down $1.21, or 2.71 per cent, to $43.43 on 1.9 million shares. TransCanada Corp. resolved a major challenge to its $12-billion Energy East project after reaching an agreement with three natural gas distributors who say the deal insulates customers from the additional costs of converting the pipeline. Under the agreement, customers in Ontario and Quebec won’t be on the hook for extra construction and development costs and will save $100 million between 2018 and 2050, the natural gas companies said.
