
Roller Derby action at the Penticton Curling Club
PENTICTON – The Penticton Pistoleras are busy preparing for their last home bout of the season this weekend.
The South Okanagan Roller Derby Association presents Summer Shovin on Saturday, June 18 at the Penticton Curling Club, where the Pistoleras will take on the Sea to Sky Sirens from Squamish.
Food and drink will be provided by Yaki’s Pizza and Subs while Bad Tattoo supplies the beverages.
Roller Derby organizers invite everyone to come and check out the entertainment.
Tickets for Summer Shovin are available at Yaki’s in Summerland, LockWorks Inc., Saint Germain Cafe and Gallery or at Picture This Custom Framing in Penticton.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and kids under 10 free. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the derby getting underway at 7 p.m.
