Possible knife fight at McDonalds
KAMLOOPS – RCMP are trying to figure out exactly what happened this morning in the parking lot of the Fortune Drive McDonalds when an apparent fight resulted in one man being sent to hospital for a cut to his arm.
At approximately 11:30 a.m. Kamloops RCMP received a call saying someone had been cut with a knife at the Northhills Shopping Centre location. When they arrived conflicting reports started to surface from the involved parties, including stories that both parties had produced a knife. Police have been able to ascertain that a dispute between a family of five (with their dogs) and a father and son began as a verbal dispute.
Police are still trying to obtain information from independent witnesses to confirm what actually happened.
