USports Football: Wedens carries Carabins past Redbirds 14-9
MONTREAL – Alex Wedens had a 61-yard touchdown run as the Montreal Carabins topped the McGill Redbirds 14-9 on Friday in Canadian university football action.
Michael Arpin had a 25-yard field goal for Montreal (7-1), which added two team safeties.
Quarterback Dimitri Morand completed 13-of-22 passes for 120 yards
Pearce Dumay caught a 62-yard touchdown pass for McGill (1-7), which had a team safety.
Dimi Sinodinos completed 11-of-22 passesm including the score to Dumay.
