SICAMOUS, B.C. – Police say a 48-year-old man from Kamloops, B.C. has died following a collision between two pickup trucks late Saturday.
In a news release, police say an eastbound pickup crossed into the path of a westbound one on Highway 1 at the Bruhn bridge in Sicamous.
The driver of the westbound truck died at the scene.
The 52-year-old driver and only occupant of the eastbound truck, who is an Alberta resident, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
