Fight between two men in Kamloops sends one to hospital, one to jail

KAMLOOPS – One man is in hospital with serious injuries and another is behind bars after a fight in the driveway of a home in Kamloops early this morning.

RCMP say at about 4:50 a.m., June 19, officers were call to a fight outside a home on Holt Street on the North Shore.

A man looked out his window, saw another man in his driveway and when he approached the man a fight ensued, according to a RCMP media release.

The man who was in the homeowner’s driveway was taken to Royal Inland Hospital with life threatening injuries, police say.

The 39-year-old homeowner was arrested and is in custody facing charges.

Anyone who witnessed the fight is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
